Shipping and Returns


All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service.  Stated delivery times are not guaranteed and can be affected by distance shipped, drop-off time, mail volume, etc.  International shipments can experience additional delays based on the amount of time needed to process the package through customs of the destination country.

Domestic shipping options:

  • First Class Mail (<13 oz.), delivery in 1-3 business days
  • Priority Mail - delivery in 1-3 business days

International shipping options:

  • First Class Package International
  • Priority Mail International - delivery in 6-10 business days

At our discretion, we may ship an order in more than one package to ensure your items arrive undamaged. Split shipping in this manner will be at our expense with no additional cost to our customer.



If you are unhappy with your West Double Reed Company items return them for a full refund or replacement within 7 days of receiving the items.

  • Reeds may not be modified and must be returned in original packaging.
  • Only unused cane may be returned for refund.
  • Reeds purchased from a retail location may be exchanged for a like reed or refunded the cost of purchase up to the listed retail price as stated on our website. A copy of the store receipt showing the purchase date must accompany the returned items.
  • Only domestic orders are eligible for refund.
  • Returned reeds must be postmarked within 7 days of receipt of the order. Reeds purchased from a retail location must be postmarked within 7 days of purchase.
